Youth Academy Teams (Ages 4-7)

The QuickFeet Soccer Lions Academy Program offers a very complete developmental program. The academy structure prepares children for the travel soccer level. The program emphasizes technical development, which is the number one most important component of player development. The Academy program is directed by club director Justin Reid. Reid is in charge of all Academy and Travel training programs for both Boys and Girls. He is a USSF Licensed coach and it supported by a knowledgeable staff with many years of playing and coaching experience.

Travel Teams (Ages 8-18)

QuickFeet Soccer Lions Travel teams play in a competitive environment as players are selected through the Youth Academy Program and local county recreational programs. The Boys teams are called QSI Lions Black and the Girls teams are called QSI Lions Green. All teams participate in either the Central Maryland Small-Sided League (CMSSL) and/or the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL). Both leagues provide stiff competition from the Washington, DC area. All Travel teams train three times a week including a free-play soccer day on Fridays. All teams practice at the same location at the same time. Training is often integrated to allow for constant observation of all players in the age group pool. The Travel coaches are made up of former and current college players and NSCAA and USSF nationally licensed coaches.

QuickFeet Soccer offers competitive travel soccer competition for children between 7-11 years old. The purpose of the select teams is to provide boys and girls with the potential, interest, and love for the game of soccer to play at a more advanced level. With player ability and potential comes the best coaches that QuickFeet has to offer and that is why all of our coaches are former college and professional players with USSF Licenses. Our plan for all players in our Travel soccer is to play collegiately and/or internationally. As an organization we are building out network across the world and making connections with scouts and directors of clubs overseas to provide our players with the opportunity to travel to South America, Caribbean, Europe, and Africa the chance to represent their parents’ heritage on the National team one day.
