Our story began when my family and I moved to the United States from Canada in 1982 where I was born. Four years later, I started playing soccer in the local leagues in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and fell in love with the sport. I would play for the local travel teams in Bethesda, Columbia, Fort Washington, and Washington, DC then high school soccer at Sandy Spring Friends School in Olney, MD and eventually college soccer at the University of Delaware where I played 3 out of the 4 years before graduating. My older brother also played soccer at St. John’s College High School and eventually the George Washington University, and we have continued to play soccer ever since even into our 30s and 40s. My nieces have also taken up the sport and love it. My mission is to continue to pass the game along to those who aspire to begin playing soccer at a young age, just like I did. Back in the 80s, four years old was the youngest that a child started to play soccer, today, when a child can walk, then he or she has the potential to kick. QuickFeet became that platform for children as young as 2 when it first started in 2006. It is a place for children to love and enjoy the game of soccer. We keep a relaxed, fun, happy environment for children to enjoy their experiences. We welcome you to QuickFeet and we hope that your child takes the path from a 2 year old to a college or even professional soccer player. Thank you and welcome to our home!
QuickFeet Soccer for Kids has provided professional soccer training to players throughout the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area since 2006. QuickFeet provides an opportunity for youth players of all levels to train to advance to a higher level. Supported by a group of former players with years of College and Professional soccer experience, this unique system will greatly aid players who wish to improve their technical and tactical skills.
QuickFeet offers a wide variety of opportunities for boys and girls soccer players beginning at the age of 2. Participants train under the watchful eye of licensed coaches who pride themselves on teaching young soccer players the right way to play the game. The QuickFeet training system focuses on maximizing individualized attention for each student while encouraging interdependence between all students as a means to reaching individual goals. Coaches pay close attention to all facets of a student’s game to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses. From there, individualized training plans are fitted to the needs of each player, while the overall tenants of the QuickFeet System further guide the development of players in our program.
Our programs are available all year round. Six to twelve week variations of Personal, Small Group, and Team Training programs highlight the many services offered. In addition, QuickFeet offers numerous clinics and classes for players to develop their game that range from basic soccer skills to advanced tactical ball movement and strategy.
